About Us

Sea Spray Cruises is a family-owned and locally operated company, proudly offering bespoke day sailing tours in St. Lucia, including trips to Soufrière and other must-see attractions. Our journey began in October 1991 with our first catamaran, Mango Tango, a 52ft vessel, operated by a husband-and-wife duo with just two employees. Over the years, we’ve grown significantly, now running a fleet of Seven boats with a dedicated team of 36.

As the cruise industry grew, so did we. By 1994, we recognized that Mango Tango was too small to meet the increasing demand from larger cruise ships. This led to the launch of our second catamaran, Tango Too, an 80ft boat capable of carrying 150 passengers. Tango Too allowed us to not only serve the cruise ship market but also cater to local charters, weddings, birthdays, and corporate events, quickly becoming a popular choice for a wide variety of tours.

In 2000, we expanded further with the addition of Jus Tango, a 65ft catamaran licensed for 110 passengers. Jus Tango quickly became a favorite for guests, offering ample space for comfort, relaxation, and sunbathing.

The next major milestone came in 2003 when we introduced the iconic 138ft Tall Ship, Brig Unicorn. Featured in films like Pirates of the Caribbean, this majestic ship allowed us to offer exciting pirate-themed tours, complete with cannons, pirates, and activities that were especially popular with families. Though the Brig Unicorn has since been retired, we replaced it with several vessels, including Liana’s Ransom and later, Black Magic—before Black Magic was sold and is now in Panama. Recent additions are the unique 78ft Power Catamaran, Go Tango, which stands as a one-of-a-kind vessel in our fleet, as well as Sea Tango – 59ft Corinthian Catamaran, Last Call – 43ft Leopard Power Catamaran and Tango Ray – 46ft Janot Catamaran. The latest addition, Tango Time, is a unique sport catamaran featuring a daybed for lounging and ample shade, making it the perfect choice for a relaxing day on the water—only one of its kind in St. Lucia.

Throughout the years, our commitment to providing exceptional and authentic experiences has been recognized with numerous accolades, including two Thompsons Gold Awards for excellence, six years of TripAdvisor Excellence Awards, and local recognition from the Ministry of Tourism for our outstanding service.
